Deloitte Persona Project
Summary:
Soon, the implementation of the Deloitte Persona international project will be carried out with the four processes agreed upon included in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) model: leave request, registration, customer service and delivery/acceptance of electronic payslips.
Information:
The Deloitte Persona project comprises a total of 17 countries and will be a portal capable of managing a number of strategic processes using the latest version of APIA.
The processes included are:
Leave request: it includes the express statements of workers regarding work leaves, where workers will be able to access a portal for requesting their leave and, eventually, receive an automatic authorization, if it is approved. The process will include parameters such as the leave period, the start and end dates and how such leave was generated.
Registration: it is a process related to the registration of workers. Once the confirmation that a certain company has hired a new worker is issued, such worker will be registered through an internal process where his/her situation with the BPS (Social Welfare Bank), the allocation of means of production - if any -, his/her work position and messaging system will be regularized.
Customer service: it is a new kind of process related to the generation of indicators and indexes taking the information stored in a global server provided to the Deloitte customers; for example, quantitative data of the leaves.
Delivery/acceptance of electronic payslips: it involves a set of operations that will allow receiving information of the local payroll system of each customer, so that the system can automatically generate the payslips of each worker. Then, the worker will be granted access to the portal for him/her to be able to see it and, eventually, approve it. If s/he decides not to approve it, s/he can pursue a complaint process where s/he will have to address the appropriate body, for example, human resources.
To develop the Deloitte Persona project, it was necessary to gather data in the different countries in order to generate the forms, processes and queries, after the developing process was completed. Once data were obtained, the solution to fulfill the immediate release processes was developed (so far, Deloitte has approved two of these processes).
This system is expected to be used by tens of thousands of people, including Deloitte officials and workers from companies to which this service was offered, starting with the launching of Deloitte Persona in American countries.
