New Apia on-site training courses and free e-learning training sessions

The on-site courses are usually required by the Agency for e-Government and Information Society (AGESIC for its Spanish acronym). On April 2015 there were 27 work days planned to carry out trainings in different units containing different modules each. The courses are shared and taught by different teachers and deal with topics related to Apia and ApiaDocumentum.

On-site Training:
On-site courses are usually required by the Agency for e-Government and Information Society (AGESIC). On April 2015 there were 27 work days planned to carry out trainings in different units containing different modules each. The courses are shared and taught by different teachers and deal with topics related to Apia and ApiaDocumentum.
There are also specific on-site courses that are not required by AGESIC, for example, when a particular agency has to update its knowledge on a certain area where these courses are needed. These courses, in a way or another, fulfill the role of permanent educators.
Next there will appear how the units are divided according to the complexity of the information received:
Unit No. 0: Introduction
It is intended for everyone who wants to get to know the tool and ask questions about it, and is conducted to homogenize the knowledge level among all the participants.
Unit No. 1: Operating Electronic File
Unit No. 2: BPM Processes and Apia BPMS
This unit is recommended for advanced learners, where work on BPM Processes and Apia BPMS is studied in depth. It is intended for people that fulfill the role of functional analysts.
Unit No. 3: Advanced Apia BPMS and IT Applications
In this stage, students should have the necessary knowledge (e.g., have attended the previous units) for developing in a greater degree of improvement in terms of Apia BPMS and IT Applications. This unit is intended for technical analysts.
The structure of the courses referred to above (in units from 0 to 3) has been held for over four years, according to the results obtained during its implementation and as stated by AGESIC. They are distributed in a specified period of time with an established workload of 108 hours (27 working days).
Now, for instance, there is a course planned for a communications agency that will start on May 4th and end on June 9th.
As for the courses demanded by agencies or AGESIC, they select the people that will receive the training, as they will be the ones in charge of teaching the other officials what they learned. In each group there is an average of 20 participants. Trainings are not always carried out in the ST offices, as it depends on several factors such as the requirements of each agency, the availability and, in some cases, the number of users that will receive the training.
Once finished, certificates are issued for the people who attended the courses.
Online Training:
In this moment, there are 33 items among which there are courses (in Spanish, English and Portuguese) and seminars. The latter are courses with greater depth than the standard ones. There are currently three seminars available.
Those interested in the public or private courses should enroll to them. Otherwise, they will not be able to take tests, practice or get certified; they will only be able to play videos and access the training program.
When users are enabled, they will have the option to write messages or receive them in their inboxes, contact the person in charge of the course, fully use the tools and links, and receive a certificate in PDF format.

This year, we offer training on a new version of the product (APIA 3) with changes in the views, the approach and the functionalities that are added to the tutorials with text lessons, multimedia display, video options and the alternation between theory and practice.
