By the end of the first semester of 2018, 30 public agencies and one private company started using ApiaDocumentum, an electronic file system developed by STATUM. This system, that is used by over 18 thousand users, has been used to create more than 2.3 million files.
The first agency to incorporate ApiaDocumentum was the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM) in 2009, and the system has grown considerably since. MIEM, for example, has generated almost 90,000 files and registered more than 560 users.
The Social Welfare Fund is the agency with the largest database managed by STATUM, as it is one of the largest ones in the country: it comprises 776 thousand files. Moreover, this system grows between 5 and 10 gigas every day. It is also the agency with the largest number of users: 6,109 as of June, 2018. Other agencies with large databases are: Central Governing Council for Education with over 339 thousand files and 1,525 users; Uruguayan Institute for Children and Adolescents with over 311 thousand files and 1,695 users, Ministry of the Interior with over 269 thousand files and 2,252 users
The Central Bank of Uruguay has 96 thousand files and 792 users; the Ministry of Labor and Social Security has 89 thousand files and 776 users; Regulatory Unit of Communications Services has 66 thousand files and 91 users; the Court of Audit and the Ministry of Transport and Public Works has 56 thousand files each and 364 and 1,443 users respectively. These agencies are followed by the Mortgage Bank of Uruguay with more than 38 thousand files and 394 users, the National Housing Agency with more than 34 thousand files and 573 users; the National Institute of Settlements with more than 32 thousand files and 294 users and National Internal Audit Office with more than 31 files and 156 users.
The Municipal Government of San José and the National Institute of Vitiviniculture have 25 thousand and 15 thousand files respectively. The Office of the President has more than 9 thousand files and 292 users; Agency of Electronic Government and Information Society has more than 5 thousand files and 170 users; the Ministry of Tourism has more than 4 thousand files and 214 users; the National Sports Office has more than 2.9 thousand files and 154 users; the National Institute of Statistics has 2.8 thousand files and 45 users; the Uruguayan Meteorology Institute has 1.8 thousand files and 133 users and the Board of Transparency and Public Ethics has 317 files and 28 users.
