Banco de Previsión Social surpassing the millions of electronic files
Jerarcas of the organism highlights “maturity” and “robustness” of ApiaDocumentum
STATUM and the Banco de Previsión Social (BPS) overlapped with the success of the organization's electronic mailing list. “ApiaDocumentum has shown us that it has succeeded in supporting a wide range of expedients. It is time to be a packet that helps many State bodies to improve their traits ”, says Roque Villamil, IT director at BPS.
Since STATUM and the BPS agreed on the use of ApiaDocumentum in 2012 and their product in 2013 with the traffic only, the service system for the creation of 1,019,200 electronic files, with a total of 4,297 active users across the country and 12,086,155 performances performed in October 2019.
Licensed in computer science Virginia Casciato indicated that this is the biggest data base that manages STATUM and one of the biggest cities in the country: “There are a million files and 15 terabytes and there is no problem”. This data base grows between 5 and 10 gigs per day. For his part, Silvana Caetano, head of the BPS Software Development team, added: “We have grown to maturity and today we have a robust platform”.
ApiaDocumentum offers electronic support for all the organism's files. Even today, it is used in areas that are not originally intended as, for example, purchases and resolutions.
“Everything was done by ApiaDocumentum. I was pressured by the absence of systems in places that needed coverage. It was a solution and a good thing, ”added Villamil.
Among the advantages of the platform, Casciato señaló that changed the dynamics of work to eliminate the "physical transfer" of files between the dependencies of the organism. “We used to have trays for entry and departure times and now they are empty”, I illustrated.
This year, BPS incorporates the function of exchanging files with other organizations. The experience has been classified as Caetano as “muy buena”. For 2020, the goal is to “move the road through a new version of Apia”.
ApiaDocumentum is a solution designed to manage files, documents and work flows, supported electronically. Its objective is to eliminate paper support, improve service quality and achieve transparency and democratization of information.
