Paraguayan INE began the implementation of the electronic file
SUMMARY:
The National Institute of Statistics (INE) of Paraguay began 2024 with the implementation of the ApiaDocumentum electronic file.
INFORMATION:
On Tuesday, January 2, the organization began its plan to abandon paper and begin to digitize all its files.
The first agency to implement it was the General Directorate of Statistical Technical Production (DGPTE).
Officials from all technical and operational areas were trained in the use of this system, which allows increasing the transparency of the agency's administration actions.
Among the benefits, we highlight better accessibility and precision in information management, greater agility in document management and process traceability.
ApiaDocumentum also saves time in file management, reduces physical space (since it is not necessary to store papers), in addition to reducing stationery and printing costs and, consequently, contributing to caring for the environment.
As reported by the Paraguayan INE, during the creation and management of the first electronic file, the directors of Statistical Technical Production and Computer Technology and Connectivity, Norma Medina and María Teresa Chica, respectively, were present.
This modernization is part of a project carried out by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology of Paraguay (MITIC), with the aim of modernizing the management and operation of the Paraguayan State.
