New Process Implementation in Central Bank of Uruguay using Apia
Summary:
The implemented process - which includes the ?Official Dispatch Receipt? - went into production in March, 2015. This process allows incorporating the Official Dispatches sent from the Judicial Branch to the Electronic File system.
Information:
An official dispatch is a legal document containing a written communication from a judge, court or competent authority, in which certain information is requested from another institution, e.g., a ministry, an embassy, agencies or public or private entities. This document may include rulings, enquiries, agreements, court orders and similar documents.
In order to implement it in the Central Bank of Uruguay, an “Official Dispatch Receipt” process was created. This process allows incorporating the documents sent by the Judicial Branch.
After that, the documents are registered in the administrative office in charge of receiving them. In this part of the process, documents are classified and attached by officials, and numbered by the system. Once in the system, the Official Dispatches are ready to be notified to the Financial System. After this stage, a new process in which the cover of the notification is attached to the selected Official Dispatches is developed. This new document will make up the notification sent.
After that, this notification is uploaded to the portal responsible for informing the Financial System and controlling the legal deadlines of the Official Dispatch. With Apia, users are now able to check the status of the notification, using the information provided by the portal.
