16 new URSEC procedures can be started online

This new addition in the Regulatory Unit of Communications Services represents a significant step towards meeting the 2016 goal: to be able to start all URSEC procedures online.
Information:
STATUM has been working with this agency for several years. In 2009, processes were systematized. As a result, information began being managed more efficiently and the activities of the different offices were regulated.
At the begging of 2016, the electronic file was implemented in this agency. For this project to be successful, the tool was adapted to the agency's needs, personnel were trained and a digital signature was obtained.
A few months later - in April,- data from the previous system were migrated to the current one. This allowed systematizing work processes to make them consistent with the organizational structure and the agency objectives, by establishing an information exchange and management system for offices and users, and adding appropriate verification, monitoring and control processes.
Finally, in May, a list of five new procedures that could be started online was made public: Application for recording in radio or TV, Monthly declaration of sales of radio equipment, Register/Unregister radio stations, Amendment of Shareholding Stake or Transfer of licenses for other Telecommunications services, and Transfer of Authorization or License for Audiovisual Communication Services.
