Summary:

Information:
Customers of the latest ApiaDocumertum version – product developed by STATUM – highlight the improvements in usability and new features that make their daily operations more efficient.
ApiaDocumentum is a solution designed to manage electronic files, documents and workflows. Its purpose is to eliminate paper support, improve service quality and achieve information transparency and democratization.
Version 2.0 offers users a friendlier design and an aesthetic similar to the one of a web browser: tabs, content selection and rating, query filters, file tree generation, etc.
Apia in San José
The IT director of the Municipal Government of San José, Martín Ponzetti, stressed that "the new system has streamlined the work search." This Municipal Government started using ApiaDocumentum 2.0 in November 2017, although it has been using the electronic file system since April 2014.
Compared to the previous version, the new version is "much more agile," Mr. Ponzetti added, specially due to the addition of tabs. "Now users can do everything in the same screen," he explained.
Mr. Ponzetti said that the Municipal Government has gained "more security" and "has saved time" thanks to electronic files. Using ApiaDocumentum has resulted in greater decentralization and reduction of paper and delivery costs. "Most paper support has been eliminated. In some cases, we have reduced labor due to not having to deliver files to different offices; and they don’t get lost either," he added.
The Municipal Government and STATUM are now working on implementing Apia Procedures before the end of the year. 2017 ended with seven online procedures; the aim is to add more options in 2018. "We are moving in that direction," Mr. Ponzetti said.
Apia in INAVI
The National Institute of Viticulture (INAVI for its Spanish acronym) was the second agency to start using ApiaDocumentum 2.0. It updated its version in 2016. "We are working normally without incidents. The system works well for routine tasks such as creating files, transfers and section changes", Fabiana Ferrari, head of the agency’s Administration department, stated.
