New report system for the Sectorial Rice Commission
Summary:
The Apia-BPM platform used by the agency will be updated to make it easier to manage its institutional processes.
Information:
STATUM is developing a new report system to update the Apia-BPM platform used by the Sectorial Rice Commission for managing institutional processes.
In accordance with the provisions of Decree 500/98, export licenses and all documents related to these procedures must be registered in the system and affidavits should be submitted to get export authorization.
The new report system aims to facilitate the task of entering information. With this update, the system will allow generating automated reports.
On December 1, 2013, the Sectorial Rice Commission implemented Apia-BPM 2.4.1.4. This made it stronger as an institution and allowed modernizing its services.
The system is made up of three sections: management of users authorized – through username and password – to send information, approval or rejection of affidavits and process status queries and obtaining of statistical data automatically for the Sectorial Rice Commission and its statistical subcommission, as well as for exporters, the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The platform was requested by the Office of Planning and Budget and was acquired through Agesic. As of 2013, the system added around 60 registered companies. Each user submits one affidavit each month and two more each year (in harvest and sowing seasons).
Apia is a powerful, complete, flexible and easy-to-run process technological platform that can be applied to different industries to implement and manage business processes of organizations in a highly productive way.
