INDDHH will enable five procedures online with ApiaTrámites
Summary:
The platform developed by STATUM, 100% aligned to the Online Procedures Model of AGESIC, provides the mechanisms and functionalities required for agile interaction between the citizen and the agency.
Information:
The National Institution for Human Rights and the Ombudsman's Office (INDDHH) joined the Online Procedures Program at the national level. In this way, at the beginning of November 2018, the possibility of carrying out five procedures through its website (inddhh.gub.uy) and the unified portal of procedures of the Uruguayan State will be enabled (www.trámites.gub.uy). This continues the progress of the work begun with STATUM, aimed at allowing citizens to carry out different procedures without having to go to an office.
The tool selected for these purposes is ApiaTrámites, a platform that allows in an easy, intuitive and dynamic way to carry out the implementation of Online Procedures for the interaction between the citizen and the organism, with an "agile methodology" that allows the officials themselves of the organism are involved in the definition and parameterization of the procedures, appropriating knowledge of the implementation for subsequent maintenance with their own resources.
The INDDHH is an organization that is responsible for the defense, promotion and protection in all its extension of the human rights recognized by the Constitution and international law. In this sense, the procedures that will be implemented in the short term are the following:
1 - Consultation or denunciation: make a consultation or report to the INDDHH with the detail of the problem;
2 - Reservation of the auditorium
3 - Registration of organizations in accordance with Law 19,641
4 - Registration for the Annual National Assembly of Human Rights: registration of organizations (social, civil and governmental)
5 - Request to visit the Museum of Memory: time reservation.
The system allows to decentralize services, improve transparency, optimize and improve the management of services. In this way, it also improves the relationship with the citizen, who can enter an application from anywhere and at any time.
Regarding the benefits that ApiaTrámites will bring to the INDDHH in its admission to the Online Procedures Program, the head of the Information Technologies Area of the agency, Adriana Barros, said: "Be closer to the people. Achieve omnichannel. And use technology to make life easier for people and social institutions. " Consulted on the tool, Barros evaluated that it is "friendly and powerful".
He added: "STATUM has been very professional, very responsible and collaborative" since the beginning of the project with the INDDHH. Both parties work together since 2015, when the agency implemented the ApiaDocumentum Electronic File System in the framework of the agreement signed with AGESIC.
