MIEM launches four new procedures with STATUM technology
SUMMARY:
The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining has four new procedures to apply for online calls. These procedures use ApiaTrámites, a technological solution developed by STATUM.
INFORMATION:
These procedures seek to eliminate the paper support of public offices, provide another communication channel so that companies can apply for calls and save time for citizens who wish to carry out procedures.
As long as the calls are in force, the service can be used from anywhere in the country, which reduces the gaps in the concentration of resources and services in the capital.
Procedure to apply for the Industrial Fund
One of the procedures is to submit to the Industrial Fund of the National Directorate of Industries, which will deliver non-reimbursable funds of up to 21 million pesos.
This fund, whose objective is to promote Uruguayan industrial investments, plans to deliver up to 2.3 million pesos to each project.
The idea is that micro, small and medium-sized companies in the manufacturing industry or that carry out industrial waste management activities can apply to receive the fund.
Each application, which has the character of an affidavit, has a cost of 210 Uruguayan pesos. The requirements to register are the following: registration as a State supplier in the Single Registry of State Suppliers (RUPE), obtaining the certificate that certifies the status of small or medium-sized company before any public or private institution (SME certificate), and registration in the Directory of Industrial Companies (DEI). All these procedures can also be done online.
Technological Link Fund Procedure
The Technological Linkage Fund aims to support industrial MSMEs to address various problems through the technical assistance that a consultant or team of consultants can provide during the investment implementation process.
This service, which is in the orbit of the National Directorate of Industries, will deliver funds for a total amount of 6 million pesos.
The MIEM, which will grant up to 600 thousand Uruguayan pesos to each project, seeks to improve production and increase the competitiveness of industrial SMEs by facilitating implementation processes.
In this case, it is also necessary to pay 210 pesos to carry out the procedure, have the SME certificate and be registered with RUPE and DEI.
Support for MSMEs from the DNE
Another of the new procedures in which STATUM has worked is "Support for efficient MSMEs" from the National Directorate of Energy.
Grants non-reimbursable funds to micro, small and medium enterprises to promote the implementation of energy efficiency measures. The maximum reimbursement percentage varies depending on the size of the company and the type of energy efficiency and can reach up to 90% of the investment made.
Requirements for the procedure: to have a user on the gub.uy platform, to have a current SME certificate, to be registered in the Single Tax Registry of the General Tax Directorate (DGI) to certify that the company has been in operation for two years, present a UTE invoice and demonstrate that the payments to the Social Security Bank (BPS) and the DGI are up to date.
In addition, in the descriptive memory of the applicants, the characteristics of the premises, the activities carried out by the company and the destination that will be given to the postulated measure must be detailed.
Procedure "Support for efficient fruit and vegetable farms"
The National Directorate of Energy has a support program for dairy farms and horticultural crops, which also seeks to promote energy efficiency measures.
In this sense, the advisory program invites to reimburse up to 90% of the investment in energy efficiency with a maximum of 45 thousand pesos per company.
Requirements for the procedure: attach the purchase invoice and photo of the installed equipment and be up to date with payments to BPS and DGI.
In the technical file of the equipment, the interested parties must demonstrate that the minimum characteristics required in the bases of the call for each of the measures are met. For example, you can present a photo of the image of the product's packaging, its manual or some document that indicates the technical characteristics.
