Civil Registry of Paraguay launches electronic file management system
SUMMARY:
In a significant step towards the modernization and digitalization of public services, the Civil Registry of Paraguay, with the support of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MITIC), has begun the implementation of the Electronic Records Management System (SGEE).
INFORMATION:
This project, announced in February 2024, promises to revolutionize the management of internal procedures, by optimizing processes and significantly reducing the use of paper.
Distinguished authorities attended the launch ceremony, including Juan Ardissone, Vice Minister of Technologies, and Rigoberto Zarza, General Director of the Civil Registry. Both highlighted the importance of this project, not only for the institution but also for Paraguayan society, emphasizing its potential to streamline procedures, improve transparency and offer higher quality services to citizens.
"This system will allow us to provide a more efficient and quality service to the population," said Zarza.
The implementation of the SGEE is part of a broader effort by the Paraguayan government to promote the digital transformation of its public institutions. This comprehensive system will allow the complete digitization of the internal processes of the Civil Registry; it is estimated that the implementation process will last six months. This project is financed by the Digital Agenda Support program and its main objective is to improve the competitiveness and quality of public services offered to the population and companies.
