Fourth Uruguayan Meetings on Business Process Management and Technologies

On the past 3rd and 4th November, the Fourth Uruguayan Meetings on Business Process Management and Technologies (BPMuy 2015) were carried out. Mr. Diego Karbuski (Statum, ST consultores), Eng., attended these meetings as guest speaker.

The main goal of the event was to promote the dissemination of the advances and the approaches related to this topic, the presentation of practical applications and success cases for the exchange of information between the different stakeholders on the use of ICTs, and the improvement of management in the organizations of our country.
Therefore, the aim was to create a complete articulation between the academy, the government and the industry. The presentation of Eng. Diego Karbuski, which took place on November 4th at 11am, was about the Effective Modeling of Processes in Large Projects with high organizational complexity.
There, he presented the key aspects that enable efficient automation in the implementation stages of BPMS technologies and the lessons learned that have been incorporated into the APIA BPM RAD methodology throughout ten years of experience in implementing APIA BPMS in public and private agencies, with active participation in the last eight years in the management of strategic BPM and Electronic File projects in STATUM for various countries in the region.
The BPMuy 2015 event featured presentations of several stakeholders of this field from public and private agencies as well as from software companies related to this subject. It was carried out in the Multipurpose Building José Luis Massera, School of Engineering, University of the Republic, with free attendance upon registration.
