Implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) module in the Central Bank of Uruguay

As part of the Institutional Services initiative, the implementation of a BI module applied to the Electronic File Management system of the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU for its acronym in Spanish) was carried out.

This tool - that falls under the “applications and technologies” category - enables access, collection, storage and analysis of historical information in order to provide users with the information needed to make better management decisions in their business.

For this case in particular, and in the first stage of this module, Dashboards with indicators, metrics and monitoring automated with alerts, as well as "Views" with information on the status of files and actions performed were included.

Analysis elements customized for the BCU according to the needs expressed by users of the application are expected to be incorporated in the second stage.
