Apia Portal and Apia Mobile
Summary:
STATUM is working on a new tool (Apia Portal) that will generate many benefits in the future, both for the company and the users. Also, STATUM has joined the algorithmic changes of Google, which is why it is also preparing adaptations of the Apia version, which will be suitable for mobile devices.
Information:
Apia Portal for Apia 3
The new portal will allow having much more information – both static and dynamic – in the Login screen. It will also present informative data in a better manner: it will display a higher number of stories, settings of this content, interaction with business information and the way in which this material is presented, i.e., with greater intentionality aimed at branding.
The portal will also allow setting the alignment of the pages, the navigation between different Logins, a better management of tasks with restricted access, and even a better experience regarding navigability between sites that do not require this permission. The idea of incorporating a knowledge base in Apia for a better management and access to the stored information, as if it were a databank, is also present.
Before, it was faster to build applications based on processes. Today it is better to create portals. Even though Apia 3 is not a portal, it is a solution that has the benefits of a portal, so it shares the speed characteristic.
In these processes of interaction with technology, the creation of digital identities that make up the presentation in the Web world of an individual and, therefore, the individual career for the use and appropriation of these virtual tools is also included.
Apia Portal will also generate improvements regarding visual styles, which will make it easier to view recent elements: Dashboards with panels, related instances, translation of contents, better usability from the administrator and distributions of the categories, as well as functionalities from the Landing Page.
Apia Mobile
With the changes made to the crawling and indexing of Websites by Google, the biggest search engine of our time, it is also essential that all websites are adaptable (responsive) to mobile devices.
In the words of Google itself: “This change affects mobile searches in all languages worldwide and has a significant impact in search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.”
Apia Mobile will be available for Android systems and devices that use Chrome, but will eventually be available for other browsers such as Firefox or Safari.
Initially, the plan is to restructure the Login screen for it to be easier to use, with different desktop versions that allow a better display of contents. This may include small icons, the modification of forms (rows, columns, categories), as well as their creation in accordance with the design of the user.
Through Apia Mobile, the user will be able to start processes, work on tasks, execute filters, receive notifications of tasks on their cell phones, sort them and get details, as well as apply filters. In short, s/he will be able to organize his/her work from any mobile device.
Therefore, the user is expected to get involved with the software, for example, to modify the fields and thus have an interface that suits all his/her needs.
