Banco FIE Acquires Apia BPMS Services

Banco FIE (Fomento a las Iniciativas Económicas S.A.) bank is currently the second largest banking institution in Bolivia, with over 140 agencies throughout the country. This institution recently acquired Apia BMPS process automation services through Albatian Consulting.

The trading company develops outstanding work in the service sector, loans and deposits. It was founded in 1985 as an NGO and was a pioneer and a leader in attention to the financial demands of sectors of the population with the greatest needs.
Individual credit introduced its own credit technology, developing a diversified and comprehensive offer to their needs and promoting the democratization of financial services in the different social strata.
Over time, it has introduced innovative measures for individual well-being as well as for micro and small enterprises, among which stand out, for example, promotional interest rates, high profitability, programmed savings accounts for children (supervised by parents) with competitive interest rates and environmental credits, among others.
Technical and business Fie team is being trained in methods and techniques of Business Process Management (BPM) for the implementation of their business processes through Apia BPMS product. The Bank has relied on Albatian Consulting for methodological and technical capacity to carry out this project.
