National Casinos Directorate satisfied with implementation of ApiaDocumentum
From the agency point to the tool developed by STATUM as essential to improve the work of officials and minimize costs.
Information:
The National Casinos Department successfully implemented ApiaDocumentum, a product developed by STATUM, in December 2018, after a training and production process at a time that was described by the parties as "record". Two months were enough to adopt the Electronic File system as an essential tool for the daily tasks of the agency's officials.
In this sense, Patricia Molina, head of the Department of Documentary Administration of the General Directorate of Casinos, said that "the tool has reached our expectations." He added: "We are working satisfactorily and the officials, in general, have had a great acceptance of the new way of working."
ApiaDocumentum is a solution designed to manage files, documents and workflows, electronically supported. Its objective is to eliminate paper support, improve the quality of service and achieve transparency and democratization of information.
Regarding the advantages of ApiaDocumentum, Molina commented that there are benefits in three aspects: in terms of material resources, staff work and physical space. Regarding the former, the head of the Documentary Administration Department pointed out that the system minimizes the consumption of inputs for the printing of documentation (from sheets of paper to toner, for example). On the other hand, officials "optimize the time taken for the printing of documents and the transfer of them between offices and agencies." Molina also highlighted the advantage that it "significantly reduces the volume of paper to be archived."
In total, 156 officials were trained by STATUM for the correct use of ApiaDocumentum; On the other hand, trainers were trained within the General Directorate of Casinos that trained another 125 officials.
"It has been a highly satisfactory job. He was in constant communication at all times and trying to solve all the issues raised in the minimum possible times, "said Molina.
From STATUM it was added that "the work between the parties (which, in addition, includes the Electronic Government Agency and the Information and Knowledge Society) was very harmonious, side by side, which contributed to achieving the objectives very quickly".
