information:
Six years after the implementation of ApiaDocumentum in the National Housing Agency (ANV), the product developed by STATUM is considered an "essential tool" for administrative management. The agency is now ready to update version 2 and, according to Leonardo López Silva, head of the Planning, Structure and Organization Department, this "will clearly result in greater efficiency in management by officials"
The Electronic File project at the ANV was implemented on October 1, 2014 in a time that was classified as “record”: four calendar months, which included the approval of the software for its operation with SQL Server Database and the training of administrators, facilitators and users. Since then until now, around 600 users have been abilities in the use of ApiaDocumentum.
Asked about the main contributions that the system has offered to the ANV, López Silva said: “ApiaDocumentum has provided extensive improvements in administrative management while guaranteeing the security and traceability of procedures, allowing better internal control and assuming responsibility administrative officials on the processing; it reduces the waiting times of the processes and avoids unnecessary transport times between the different administrative units and between sections of the Public Administration and enables simultaneous access to information from all offices regardless of their geographical location”.
Lastly, he highlighted: "It improves the transparency of public management towards citizens and minimizes the use of resources".
This is how the official summed it up: "6 years after its implementation, ApiaDocumentum has become an essential tool for the Agency, included among the systems that the organization has defined as critical".
After the implementation of the ApiaDocumentum, the interoperability with other public bodies and the expansion of management functionalities continued with the incorporation of the ApiaBI Electronic Analytical File. The production of an online consultation for citizens is still pending and they adjust the instrumentation to control deadlines and alarms.
The next step is the update to ApiaDocumentum version 2 with the same “collaborative spirit” that has been had in all this time between ANV and STATUM.
ApiaDocumentum is a solution designed to manage files, documents and workflows, supported electronically. Its objective is to eliminate paper support, improve the quality of service and achieve transparency and democratization of information.
