STATUM evolves procedures for the Presidency of the Republic
SUMMARY:
Work is done on the Obligatory Automobile Insurance Claim and Press Accreditations procedures.
INFORMATION:
STATUM and the Presidency of the Republic began a joint project for the "evolution" of certain online procedures.
Under the leadership of the Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society Agency (Agesic), the parties began to work on the “evolution” of two procedures: the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Claim (SOA), as established in article 126 of Law 19,678 on Insurance Contracts; and the Press Accreditation.
The work of STATUM and Agesic is aimed at allowing citizens to carry out different procedures without having to go to an office.
Mandatory Automobile Insurance Claim
SOA insurance covers death or physical injury suffered by people as a result of accidents caused by motor vehicles and towed trailers that do not have an SOA policy. The National Road Safety Unit only assigns an insurance entity as the competent institution to process and admit or deny the citizen's claim.
To carry out this procedure, the user must only enter the site: Click here
Press accreditation
STATUM has already begun the “evolution” of the process corresponding to the Press Accreditation for the activities of the Presidency of the Republic for the period 2020-2025. This application is necessary for accreditation for special events before the Executive Power and is made at this link: Click here
The tool selected for these purposes is ApiaTrámites, a platform 100% to the AGESIC Online Procedures Model, which allows in an easy, intuitive and dynamic way to carry out the implementation of Online Procedures for the interaction between the citizen and the organization, with an "agile methodology" that allows the agency's own officials to get involved in the definition and parameterization of the procedures, appropriating the knowledge of the implementation for subsequent maintenance with their own resources.
