Ministry of Inner Affairs implements new online procedure for consulting electronic files
SUMMARY:
The Ministry of Inner Affairs will implement a new online procedure called “Electronic file web consultation”, which will allow citizens to know the status of their files classified as “Public”.
INFORMATION:
This initiative reinforces the commitment to transparency and accessibility of information, while modernizing the interaction between citizens and the public administration.
To consult the information, users will only need the file number.
The procedure will require authentication through gub.uy, which guarantees the security and registration of each interaction. This will allow each query to be duly registered and linked to the user making the query.
Users will be able to see in which office of the Ministry their file is located, which provides clarity on its status and location in the administrative process.
The procedure is implemented in the Apia platform. Through a web service, Apia communicates with the existing Apia Documentum systems and thus ensures an efficient and reliable flow of information.
This project not only benefits citizens, but also optimizes the Ministry's internal operations by reducing face-to-face or telephone consultations and contributes to a more agile and digitized public service.
The new procedure will be available soon and will mark a new step in the digitalization of public services in Uruguay.
