STATUM creates a procedure generator with artificial intelligence
SUMMARY:
This new tool, integrated with artificial intelligence, facilitates and streamlines the process of creating new procedures through the Apia BPMS.
INFORMATION:
The tool is based on three key elements: the name of the procedure, the responsible agency, and an optional description. With this information, it automatically generates the complete structure of the procedure, integrating the steps to follow, the necessary forms, and the internal tasks corresponding to the user who will manage the requests.
The use of this new tool seeks to optimize the computerization of organizational processes, with special emphasis on the initial design stages or in situations where agencies or institutions have not yet fully defined the requirements of the procedure to be implemented. In addition, it provides support during the survey phase, facilitating the work of both IT specialists and the counterparty's functional representatives.
From design to implementation
The AI-generated file facilitates the almost immediate implementation of the procedure in the Apia environment. Although it is not yet available to the target audience, the process is technically ready to be put into production.
A process with this new component is created in no more than a day. This workflow marks a substantial difference compared to the traditional method, where the design and development of a process could take weeks or even months.
One of the main benefits of the system is its use in the early stages of research. When working with a new organization or a new type of process, AI can generate a preliminary version useful for understanding the process.
This reduces the initial workload, provides a concrete framework for starting work, and allows for faster validation of requirements with institutional teams.
Development of this product began in mid-2024 and is currently in an advanced phase, following a year of internal work and testing.
