The National Sports Secretariat modernizes a procedure of the Gol al Futuro program with the help of STATUM
SUMMARY:
The National Sports Secretariat (SND) developed a new digital procedure for obtaining the certificate for the Gol al Futuro (Goal to the Future) program with the help of STATUM, as part of a project aimed at modernizing administrative management and streamlining the document issuance process.INFORMATION:
The previous system was entirely manual; applications were submitted on paper, had to be written by the applicants, and were then received and processed internally. This resulted in a heavy administrative burden, delays, and difficulties in tracking each application. In this context, the SND-TeL project promoted the digitization of the process, with the goal of modernizing administrative management and simplifying access to the certificate for athletes and technical teams involved in the program.
The National Sports Secretariat incorporated STATUM as a key player in the redesign of the procedure, with an explicit goal: to eliminate the use of paper and build a digital workflow that would reduce internal processing times without sacrificing formal controls.
The new design allows for clear tracking of each request, so that every step of the process is identified and can be consulted later by the Secretariat's teams.
The system also consolidated a centralized history of submitted applications and issued certificates. This database serves as administrative backup and as a tool for organizing and verifying available information.
Implementation, QR Code, and Functionality
The National Sports Secretariat implemented the new system after a joint survey with representatives from the Goal to the Future program and the Training and Study area, who contributed the necessary requirements and validations for the final design.
The result was an online process that incorporates the automatic issuance of certificates with QR codes, allowing users to verify their authenticity and download the document from a cell phone or computer.
The system also enables the generation of one or more certificates when the athlete is already registered. According to the internal document, officials highlighted the reduction in processing time compared to the previous manual process.
As a key takeaway, the project highlighted the importance of coordination between technical teams and those responsible for the process. The experience was identified as a foundation for advancing the digitization of other administrative processes within the organization.
