STATUM prepares the launch of ApiaDocumentum 2.4
SUMMARY:
ApiaDocumentum 2.4 is the new version of the document management platform. The company worked on improvements aimed at making daily use more efficient and aligning the tool with accessibility and usability requirements in digital environments, in compliance with Law No. 19924 and Decree 406/22.
INFORMATION:
The update focuses on two areas: what users see in the system and what happens internally to manage access, parameters, and platform monitoring.
Visible changes: accessibility, screens, and system access
One of the key aspects is compliance with accessibility and usability standards adapted to Uruguayan regulations. In practice, this means the interface and content are prepared for different usage modes, ensuring consistent navigation, reading, and operation without relying on shortcuts or technical knowledge.
Version 2.4 introduces an improved user experience, including an updated visual design and responsive screens. This means the interface adapts to different device sizes, preventing options from being hidden or misaligned.
There will also be a reorganization of work environments based on user profiles. Non-technical users will see only the content enabled for their role, allowing them to complete tasks with less effort and navigation.
In terms of visual identity, the update includes a refreshed logo and iconography. These changes help improve system readability, as icons and visual cues make it easier to identify frequent actions such as navigating, confirming, attaching, or reviewing.
Another new feature is the access configuration. Version 2.4 includes a restructuring of parameters and allows defining or modifying access settings from the general configuration.
Cases: new screens, AI assistance, signatures, and dashboards
The case management experience has been redesigned. A lateral task bar will be available to manage cases, concentrating common actions in a stable area of the screen and improving navigation within each process. There will also be updates to the handoff selection and the case structure tree.
Within this area, AI-powered assistance is introduced. ApiaDocumentum 2.4 will include support tools for creating cases and handling actions, aimed at simplifying certain operational tasks within the system.
Among the new features is batch signing, which allows multiple elements to be signed in a single operation. In parallel, accessible PDFs are included, as well as the ability to modify the case type when changing its cover, enabling adjustments to the classification of the process.
The new version will also include analytics and monitoring tools through indicators and on-screen views, designed to facilitate tracking system activity and performance.
Monitoring, support, and platform evolution
Regarding monitoring, ApiaDocumentum 2.4 will include improvements in technical logs, enabling better event analysis and reducing resolution times in case of issues. These enhancements mainly impact support and maintenance processes.
ApiaDesk is also introduced, a user workspace designed as a personal environment within the platform.
Additionally, the version includes new system monitoring dashboards, providing operational and technical insights into platform performance.
New features are also added for template management and document organization within cases, aimed at improving structure and standardization.
In terms of integration, the roadmap includes advances such as cloud-based signatures, a second-level archive, and improvements in data exchange mechanisms with other systems.
