STATUM introduces a new version of Apia with improvements in speed, artificial intelligence, and customization
SUMMARY:
STATUM updated Apia to version 4.0.0.4, with performance improvements, new conversational features, and more form customization capabilities.
INFORMATION:
One of the improvements is the updated React-based architecture, which speeds up processes within the platform.
This update's main objective is to reduce loading times and improve the overall execution speed of forms and processes.
The implementation focused on rendering engine efficiency, which directly impacts a smoother user experience, especially in systems with large data volumes or multiple users.
More flexible forms: use of custom components
One of the most noticeable new features for process designers in Apia is the ability to use custom components within forms.
Until now, forms were limited to the native and default components offered by Apia. With this update, users can create their own reusable components. These elements can then be integrated directly into the form design, similar to how native controls are used.
This capability allows the interface to be adapted to more specific needs, facilitating customization in complex contexts or with specific requirements.
Semantic Searches and Conversational Mode
STATUM also incorporated a new semantic search feature, aimed at improving the way users consult the information stored in Apia.
Through this tool, searches can be generated that use existing entities or documents in the system as their source. It is also possible to access data from external sources using Java classes that obtain information from other systems.
The main novelty is that these searches can be performed in a conversational format, meaning the user can ask questions in natural language, and Apia interprets the intent and returns a relevant response.
This feature is designed for scenarios where traditional navigation through filters or fields is inefficient, and opens the door to more direct and accessible interaction with the data.
Integration with Artificial Intelligence Engines
As part of this advancement, STATUM enabled the creation of connectors with artificial intelligence engines.
Supported engines include GPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), among others, which enrich forms or conversational searches with real-time automatic analysis, writing, summarization, or text categorization capabilities.
With this integration, Apia can rely on external models to perform complex tasks, such as generating automatic responses, interpreting texts, or assisting users in guided flows.
New Rules for Documents: Expirations and Permanence
Regarding document processing within Apia, STATUM implemented new events linked to expiration dates.
These events are automatically triggered when the deadline defined for a document approaches, allowing alerts, automatic actions, or validations to be scheduled.
Additionally, a new attribute was added to document types that allows defining whether documents associated with that type are permanent.
When a document is defined as permanent, Apia prevents it from being deleted or modified, ensuring the preservation of critical or legally protected information.
